Tree of Knowledge Poem

"Once, God slept, and awoke, half -waking, into dreaming, and spread out the creation as a great tree. Its roots in the nothing of his dream. Its branches and leaves and fruits in the nothingness of appearance. It is called the Tree of Knowledge, because by it, God came to self-knowledge. But before he ate of its fruits, He, even God, knew not Himself."
