Notes From Robin
I have been
able to contact Ms. Robin Lamont, who was in the original New York cast of
Godspell, as well as in the motion picture cast. Posted below is her email
to me. Hi Annette,
Thanks for your email. It's nice to still be remembered. Jeff Mylett and I worked together from the very beginnings of Godspell; he was a good friend, and I loved him very much. He always had a quirky sense of humor and made me laugh a lot. Sometimes he would just show up at my apartment in NYC on a Sunday afternoon, and we'd hang out and talk and talk.
Godspell was a fabulous experience for us. A time I treasure. Both on the stage and making the film. It's really rewarding to know that the show continues to make people happy. Thanks again for your kind thoughts.

Days later she was kind enough to send me
an autographed picture of herself in the movie. On the back was a brief
note, which I also posted:
8/15/06 Dear Annette, Thanks so much for
all your kind words and support. I loved doing Godspell and am happy my
experience and work was meaningful for you. Best of luck in all!
