The Home of the Kedettes

A Kedette is a devoted fan of Jeffrey Mylett's work. A Kedette is a person with a lot of love and determination. A Kedette is someone who wants good things to happen to virtually anybody they meet. A Kedette will unexpectedly scribble up a note to you, just to see how you're doing. A Kedette faces life with a smile, and lives to brighten up everyone's day. A Kedette will do anything for a laugh. A Kedette will randomly hug you when you need them most. A Kedette is not afraid to sing at the top of their lungs. A Kedette is an incurable dreamer. A Kedette is spontaneous. A Kedette will proudly proclaim that "it says Keds!" wherever he or she goes. A Kedette can change the world. A Kedette will even plant a smile right on your face in the process.

Hey!

I want to be a Kedette! I have all of the qualifications and live my life each day by all those virtues. Even though sometimes its hard, or I get cast down, people I can have my sad times but always turn them around and spread happiness and laughter to anyone. We need more Kedettes in this world! Then there wouldnt be so much of the selfishness, sadness, persecution, and close minded people. Godspell is a perfect example of how we should all stop one day and look at all the love and beauty around us, take those feelings and project them into everyone we meet. I just adore Jeffrey Mylett and wish I could have met him. I remember having a crush on him when I was 19 watching Brewsters Millions, and I bought the Godspell record when I was 10. I only saw the movie once in 1977 or 78 and loved it. Recently, watching it does make me cry tears of joy and a celebration of life for the cast members who are no longer with us.

I live in Charlottesville VA, which is a nice eclectic, artsy place which is mostly a college town, but has this atmosphere that is a melting pot for everyone who is different. There are a few negative groups of people but that doesnt stop the hippie generation, or the hippie generation x people from speaking their minds and making others happy. The downtown mall is like a carnival atmosphere every weekend, its the bricked over main street with benches, trees and all sorts of art, candle, natural oils, antiques shops, art galleries, annual vegetarian festivals, vendors, music playing, wonderful people who sometimes are lost homeless people but filled with love, spiritual guides and coffee shops.

I love this website too, and I am thinking of dressing like Jeffrey's character in Godspell for Halloween as a loving reverence. After all, Halloween doesnt have to be comical or scary costumes, it can be filled with love, care free fun and happiness.

Thanks for this beautiful website and I want to be a part of all the Jeffrey Mylett fans!
