Amateur Productions

(Background collage made by Becca, as well as "My Jesus Wears a Superman Shirt" banner. Thanks, Becca!)
A friend of mine, Dan, whom I met through my friend Brigid, actually participated in his school's production of Godspell. This section of the site is for us Godspell fans who have actually taken part in production(s) of Godspell, as part of amateur companies. Yes, I also fit into this category, since I had the fortune of playing "Gilmer" at a community theatre production of Godspell, and I'll eventually have pictures up from the production I was involved in.
There's something so special about being a part of Godspell, and the spirit of the show just continues to live on today with all the revivals and amateur productions. I strongly encourage anyone to audition for Godspell whenever opportunity knocks for that. In a cast, each and every person is without a doubt different from the next. However, with all that each of us has to offer, we come together and create something so beautiful and obviously enjoyable to be a part of! Your cast is your family--through bad, through good, through rehearsals, through tech week, and even through all the falsettos that we can hit!
So keep those memories alive. The thrill of opening night, the goofing around during rehearsals, and all the hugs you got on the final night of your show.
If anyone at all is interested in having pictures from their production posted up here, by all means, email me!
